Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely. All STI testing is 100% confidential. Your results are only accessible by you through your secure online portal. We never share results with anyone without your explicit consent, including family members, employers, or insurance companies.
Different infections have different 'window periods'. Chlamydia and gonorrhoea can be detected from 2 weeks. HIV from 4 weeks (conclusive at 12 weeks). Syphilis from 3-6 weeks. We can advise on optimal testing times when you book.
We'll contact you to discuss results and next steps. Most bacterial STIs are easily treated with antibiotics. We can provide treatment or refer you appropriately. We offer support and guidance throughout, always maintaining confidentiality.
Fasting is not required for most fertility hormones. However, testosterone in men should ideally be tested in the morning (before 10am) when levels are highest. For female fertility testing, timing in your menstrual cycle matters - we'll advise when you book.
AMH can be tested any day. FSH, LH, and oestradiol are best tested on days 2-5 of your cycle. Progesterone should be tested 7 days after ovulation (typically day 21 in a 28-day cycle). We'll help you plan the optimal testing schedule.
